Florida could be without top 3 WR's for Florida State game
Florida’s receiver room is dealing with multiple injuries this week as the Gators prepare to play Florida State on Friday night.
Two of the Gators’ top three receivers have already been ruled out due to injury: Xzavier Henderson and Justin Shorter. Another of UF’s starting receiver trio, Ricky Pearsall, is questionable.
Other receivers such as Ja’Quavion Fraziars, Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman and Marcus Burke have also been ruled out.
Florida WRs Ja'Quavion Fraziars, Xzavier Henderson, Justin Shorter, Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman and Marcus Burke will all miss Friday's game at FSU due to injury.
Additionally, Ricky Pearsall is listed as questionable for the contest.
Gators will be extremely thin at the position.

Henderson, Shorter and Pearsall have combined for 7 of Florida’s 15 receiving touchdowns so far this season. They’re the only receivers on the team who have cleared 250+ yards so far in 2022.
With the lack of receivers available, Florida could turn to its running game more against the Seminoles. The Gators rank third in the SEC with more than 209 rushing yards per game.
Florida State is looking for its ninth win of the season. The Noles could get to 10 wins this year for the first time since the 2016 campaign.
Florida has won three straight meetings in this series. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday night on ABC.
