Florida State announces sell-out for rivalry game vs. Florida

Florida State has announced a sellout for this season’s game vs. Florida in November.

The game is scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, Nov. 25. It will be the final game of the regular season and could have postseason implications for both teams.

With this announcement, it guarantees the second sellout of the season. The first sellout game happened last Saturday against Boston College. That was Florida State’s first sellout since 2015. The packed crowd witnessed a 30-point win for Florida State and they will hope to see the same on Nov. 25.

Florida leads the all-time series with a 37-26-2 record. Florida enters this year’s game on a 3-game winning streak over F

lorida State.

In the 2021 meeting, Florida pulled off a 24-21 win over Florida State. This year’s meeting will be Florida State head coach Mike Norvell’s 2nd game against the Gators. Florida and Florida State did not play in 2020, which was Norvell’s 1st season at Florida State.

The Seminoles will look to stay undefeated in Week 5 against Wake Forest.
