Florida State basketball blows out Missouri to win Jacksonville Classic

Florida State picked up a big win over Missouri on Monday night, defeating the Tigers 81-58 in the Championship of the Jacksonville Classic.

SU’s dominating 73-45 win over Loyola Marymount on Sunday. The Seminoles are now 4-1 on the season.

Anthony Polite led the way for FSU with a team-high 14 points. He shot 6-of-9 from the field and added 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

Malik Osborne and Matthew Cleveland were the other Seminoles to score in double figures, both getting to 10 points. Cleveland’s production came off the b

ench. Osborne had a team-high 7 rebounds.

This game got out of hand early, and resulted in Florida State playing 17 players on the night. No FSU player logged more than 24 minutes in this game.

Florida State’s only loss of the year so far is to Florida. The Gators are undefeated and quickly rising up the polls.

FSU faces Boston University on Wednesday at home.
