Florida State cornerback Omarion Cooper is trending towards playing vs. the Tigers on Sunday night.

Cooper missed FSU’s Week 0 game with an injury but appears ready to return to the lineup. Multiple Florida State beat writers have shared video of Cooper warming up before kickoff in the Superdome.

Cooper could still end up being a game-time decision, but it’s good to see him moving well on the field prior to kickoff. He also joined the Seminoles during their official pre-game warmups in full pads, per a report:

Cooper is a major part of Florida State’s secondary. Alongside Renardo Green, he helps form one of the top cornerback tandems in the ACC.

Last week, Cooper was replaced in the starting line up by Jarrian Jones. True freshmen corners Azareye’h Thomas and Sam McCall are also candidates to receive more playing time if Cooper can’t go.

Last season as a freshman, Cooper totaled 16 tackles, 2 interceptions and 4 pass deflections.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
