Florida State clinches first perfect season in ACC play in nearly a decade
Florida State finished off a perfect season in ACC play on Saturday night vs. Miami.
The Seminoles defeated Miami 27-20, moving them to 10-0 overall and 8-0 in ACC action so far this season. This is FSU’s first perfect season in conference play since 2014 when it made it all the way to the College Football Playoff.
This is also Florida State’s third consecutive win over Miami. The Noles also won in this series in 2022 and 2021. Quarterback Jordan Travis is the first quarterback in FSU history to win three straight games vs. the Canes, per the ABC broadcast.
This win means Florida State will enter Week 12 with an undefeated record and a strong chance to move to 11-0 on the season against North Alabama next week. The Noles will finish the regular season with a meeting against Florida in Week 13.
Jordan Travis had another strong game, completing 19-of-31 passes for 265 yards and a touchdown. Trey Benson led the way on the ground with 80 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
