A Florida State commit turned on the jets and lost a shoe in the process.

Hykeem Williams, the prized 5-star wide receiver out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Stranahan, had an 80-yard receiving touchdown on Friday night against Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons.

The speedy Williams turned the short throw into a long score, all while only having one shoe.

The dynamic and explosive 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect is regarded by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 23 overall prospect and the No. 4 receiver in the country.

Currently, Florida State has 16 hard commits for the Class of 2023. For that class, Florida State ranks No. 16 in the nation.

Florida State is taking on visiting Georgia Tech today. Florida State has a 4-3 record and is 5th in the ACC Atlantic. Those three straight losses came against three ranked opponents: No. 22 Wake Forest, No. 14 NC State, and No. 4 Clemson.

Florida State leads the all-time series 14-11-1. Georgia Tech has taken the last two contests in the series. The last time Florida State defeated Georgia Tech was a 37-35 victory in the 2014 ACC Championship Game.
