Florida State commit Lamont Green Jr. had himself a game this weekend.

Green recorded 5 sacks in his high school game this week. His father, who was a captain at Florida State in 1998, shared a clip of one of the plays:

Green made a big impact on the game, leading his team to a 21-14 win over Benjamin. He’s up to 12.5 sacks on the season.

He attends Gulliver Prep in Miami. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 228 pounds.

Green is the No. 254 overall prospect in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 29 EDGE prospect. His ranking could continue to rise as more evaluators are able to study his senior tape.

His father, Lamont Green Sr., was a key member of FSU’s 1998 team that made the National Championship Game. He led the team with 73 total tackles and was named first-team All-ACC.

The Early Signing Period begins in December.
