Florida State will be decked out in a new uniform combo for Saturday’s game at Boston College. The team is wearing a combo that’s never been worn before for the ACC opener.

The team is going with white helmets, garnet jerseys, and white pants. This will be just the 3rd time the Noles have worn white helmets. The team first sported the helmets as part of an all-white combo against Louisville last year, and again wore the helmets with the all-garnet uniforms against Georgia Tech.

If you’re wondering why the Noles are not wearing the typical white road uniforms, it’s because of Boston College. The Eagles are hosting their annual Red Bandana Game, and thus will be wearing all-white for the matchup.

The Noles will be looking to start off 3-0 and 1-0 in conference play. The Eagles haven’t looked great so far, losing to Northern Illinois in OT and beating FCS Holy Cross by just 3 points. The Noles have won the previous 4 meetings between the teams.
