Florida State DL expected to enter transfer portal after 3 seasons with Seminoles

Florida State defensive lineman Quashon Fuller is no longer with the team, according to multiple reports.

He’s no longer listed on Florida State’s online roster. His departure comes after spending the last 3 seasons with Florida State.

Fuller redshirted in 2019 before appearing as a reserve in 4 games in 2020. Last season, Fuller played in 11 games and recorded 3 tackles for loss.

He’s a former 4-star prospect who was one of the best players in FSU’s 2019 recruiting class. He was ranked as the No. 14 strong side defensive end in the country for that class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He originally committed to ex-FSU coach Willie Taggart.

Fuller was expected to provide depth along F

lorida State’s defensive line again in 2022. However, he was not expected to be a factor in the starting lineup. FSU brought in Albany transfer Jared Verse to be an impactful pass rusher this offseason.

He’s the third Florida state player to leave the program this week, joining tight end Koby Gross and linebacker Jadarius Green-McKnight.

Fuller has 3 years of eligibility remaining.
