Florida State is reportedly in the mix to land one of the top offensive linemen in the transfer portal.

The Noles are one of eight teams still being considered by former Mississippi State transfer offensive tackle Percy Lewis, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Lewis is also still considering Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Arkansas, Cal, Memphis and Georgia.

Lewis is a former junior college transfer who spent the past couple of seasons in Starkville. He made seven starts for the Bulldogs in 2023 and appeared in 25 total games for Mississippi State over the past two seasons.

Lewis is listed at 6-foot-8, 345 pounds. A Mississippi native, Lewis will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.

Florida State is expected to continue to be active in the transfer portal this offseason, as it has been over the past couple of cycles. The Noles have just one transfer commitment so far and it came from ex-Georgia pass rusher Marvin Jones Jr.

FSU will face Georgia in its 2023 finale on Saturday. Once the Orange Bowl is in the rearview mirror, FSU will be able to put its full focus toward preparing for the 2024 season.
