Florida State lands transfer OL commitment from SEC power

Florida State has obtained the services of an experienced SEC OL transfer from Auburn.

Keiondre Jones announced his transfer destination on Twitter on Tuesday. He’s a huge get for the Seminoles, as Jones bring a wealth of knowledge and versatility to the field.

“Time to kick the door down and force em to let me in. Go Noles #Committed,” Jones wrote.

Here’s his announcement:

As a 4-star recruit, Jones joined the Tigers in 2019 after turning down offers from over 20 schools including CFP contenders like Georgia. Jones saw his first playing time in the middle of his second year after injury benched starter Brandon Council. By his junior season in 2022, Jones was the only Auburn offensive lineman to start every game, and racked up offensive lineman of week and PFF College all-SEC 3rd

team honors.

Florida State has now earned commitments from three transfer offensive linemen this week. Jones is joined by Colorado transfer Casey Roddick and UTEP transfer Jeremiah Byers.

FSU plays Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl later this month.
