Florida State is now one of the top 15 teams in the country, according to the College Football Playoff selection committee.

The Noles moved up to No. 13 in the latest rankings, which were released on Tuesday night. Florida State was No. 16 entering Week 13.

FSU is the second highest-ranked ACC team this week, behind only No. 9 Clemson. North Carolina is ranked No. 23 nationally after losing to No. 25 NC State last week.

Florida State picked up a dramatic 45-38 win over Florida this weekend. That victory snapped a three-game losing skid against the Gators and pushed FSU to a 9-3 regular season record.

The Seminoles ended the regular season on a five-game winning streak. This marks the first time since 2016 that Florida State has won more than seven games in a single campaign.

Florida State will also be playing in a bowl game this season for the first time in the Mike Norvell era. FSU is likely to be headed to the Holiday Bowl or Cheez-It Bowl, but a Cotton Bowl berth could be on the table as well.

The Noles will learn their bowl destination on Sunday.
