Florida State is a finalist for 4-star cornerback Jarvis Boatwright Jr.

Boatwright announced he’s cut his recruitment down to 5 programs as of Sunday evening. In addition to Florida State, he’s still considering South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and UCF.

Boatwright is a Clearwater, Fla., native. He attends Clearwater High School and is 6-foot-1, 170 pounds.

He has become a priority for the Seminoles in the class of 2024. He currently ranks as the No. 341 overall player and the No. 28 safety in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Boatwright has taken multiple visits to Florida State during his recruitment. Most recently, he was present for FSU’s junior day over the weekend.

Florida State’s 2024 recruiting class is off to a great start. The Noles already have 8 commitments in the class, led by 5-star running back Kameron Davis. The group ranks No. 4 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
