Florida State officially finalized its 2022 recruiting class on Monday afternoon, announcing the addition of Antavious Woody.

Woody signed the Seminoles back in February, but the program had not officially acknowledged his arrival until this week.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, Woody had to clear some academic hurdles before officially joining FSU’s 2022 signing class.

“We are excited about the addition of Antavious Woody,” coach Mike Norvell said in a press release on Monday. “He is an elite athlete with tremendous versatility. Antavious worked extremely hard, both on and off the field, to put himself in this position, and we are glad to have him as part of the Nole Family.”

Woody was a 3-star prospect and the No. 24 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 22 player from the state of Alabama.

He becomes the 16th member of Florida State’s freshman signing class. The Seminoles have also signed 11 transfers this offseason. Woody is also one of 6 freshman offensive linemen in this class.

Florida State’s 2022 class finished No. 21 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite ranking.
