Florida State picks off Florida QB Emory Jones 3 times in first half

Florida State is off to a good start defensively in its rivalry game vs. Florida on Saturday afternoon.

The Seminoles picked off Florida quarterback Emory Jones three times before the break and ended the half all square at 7-7. The winner of this game will qualify for a bowl game.

Jammie Robinson, Kalen DeLoach and Jarvis Brownlee were the FSU players who picked off Jones. Brownlee also recorded a tackle for loss and a forced fumble in the first half.

Here’s video of all three interceptions:

Florida State has been playing well down the stretch. The Seminoles are coming off back-to-back wins over Miami and Boston College, giving t

hem a chance to reach bowl eligibility on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Florida is reeling from several bad performances in a row and fired coach Dan Mullen this week.

FSU quarterback Jordan Travis ran for Florida State’s only touchdown in the first half. He spent some time in the injury tent but was able to return to the game in the first half.

Florida State is looking for its first win over the Gators since 2017.
