Florida State quarterback commitment Chris Parson has earned an invite to the Elite 11 Finals.

This is often an elusive invitation for high school quarterbacks — only the nation’s most talented passers are asked to participate in the final camp in Los Angeles.

Here’s Parson’s invite:

Parson was very impressive at a regional Elite 11 camp in Nashville back in May. That performance is likely what landed the Tennessee native an invite to the finals.

He’s been committed to Florida State since July 22, 2021. He’s currently ranked as the No. 16 quarterback in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Elite 11 is widely considered to be the top annual quarterback competition in the country for high school prospects. It includes 9 regional events followed by the championship round.

Recent participants in the Elite 11 Finals include Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Alabama’s Bryce Young, Ohio State’s Justin Fields and Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence. Former Florida State QB Jameis Winston was the co-MVP of the Elite 11 Finals in 2011.

The 2022 Elite 11 Finals will be held from June 28-30.
