Florida State has a surprise visitor on campus this weekend.
4-star defensive back Conrad Hussey, who is currently committed to Penn State, arrived in Tallahassee on Friday afternoon for a visit.
Here’s video of his arrival via The Osceola’s Curt Weiler:
If Florida State can lure Hussey away from his Penn State pledge, it would be a huge addition for the Noles. Hussey is the No. 250 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
FSU does have a proximity advantage over the Nittany Lions. Hussey attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
This is turning into a major recruiting weekend for Florida State. A number of top prospects from the class of 2023 and the transfer portal are on campus this weekend.
FSU already has a commitment from one transfer — ex-Miami defensive lineman Darrell Jackson. The Noles are expected to add more transfers in the coming weeks. Florida State’s 2023 high school recruiting class currently ranks No. 17 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
