Florida State remained in the top 5 of the AP Poll this week following a big win over Syracuse in Week 7.

The Seminoles held on to their No. 4 ranking this week. They stayed in front of Washington, who picked up a top-10 win over Oregon on Saturday.

Florida State defeated the Orange 41-3 over the weekend. Keon Coleman was FSU’s best offensive player, catching 9 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Coleman is now up to 418 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season, which matches a career high.

Florida State is 6-0 for the first time since the 2015 season. If the Noles are able to move to 7-0, it would be the first time the program has reached that benchmark since 2014 when it made the College Football Playoff.

FSU currently sits in first place in the ACC with a 4-0 record. North Carolina and Duke are also undefeated in ACC play entering Week 8.

The Seminoles will host Duke next weekend in a battle for the top spot in the ACC. It’s unclear if Duke quarterback Riley Leonard will be healthy enough to play in that game after suffering an ankle injury vs. Notre Dame. He did not play in Duke’s 24-3 win over NC State over the weekend.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET next week.
