Florida State signee makes significant jump in final 2023 recruiting rankings

Florida State safety signee Conrad Hussey moved up more than 50 spots in 247Sports’ final recruiting rankings of the cycle this week.

Hussey moved up from No. 164 nationally to No. 111 in the final rankings of the 2023 cycle. For a player who was ranked outside the top 500 as of June of 2022, he’s made a significant jump up the rankings and is on the cusp of top-100 status.

In 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Hussey moved up from 214 to No. 178 in the last week. The Composite formula also includes rankings from Rivals, ESPN and On3.

Hussey was a relatively late addition to Florida State’s 2023 recruiting class. He was committed to Penn State before flipping to the Noles on Dec. 22.

Hussey is a Fort Lauderdale, Fla, native. He attends St. Thomas Aquinas High school. He’s listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds.

Florida State’s high school recruiting class for 2023 currently has 17 players. The group ranks No. 20 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The Noles have added another 9 transfer to their 2023 roster this offseason as well.
