Florida State run-ruled Marist 9-0 on Friday afternoon in its opening-round NCAA Tournament game.

The Noles got it done in 5 innings thanks to a late power surge. FSU scored 5 in the third, 2 in the fourth and 2 in the fifth.

The final blow came on a walk-off, 2-run home run by Kate Dack in the bottom of the 5th. Here’s a look at the game-clinching hit:

Michaela Edenfield also homered in the 3rd inning to give Florida State a 5-0 advantage. Kalei Harding made it 7-0 in the fourth frame with a 2-run blast of her own.

In the circle, Florida State was dominant. Mack Leonard and Makenna Reid threw a combined no-hitter, with Leonard tossing the first 4 innings of the game. The pair allowed just 1 walk and struck out 4 batters as well.

UCF and South Carolina will play in the other opening-round game of the Tallahassee regional. The Noles will face the victor of that contest in the winner’s bracket on Saturday afternoon.
