Florida State softball sets new viewership record in win over UCLA
Florida State softball’s dramatic win vs. UCLA earlier this week turned out to be one of the most-watched regular season games in recent memory.
According to ESPN PR, an average of 620,000 viewers watched the Seminoles victory vs. the No. 3 Bruins. That’s the most-watched regular season softball game since 2015.

This was one of the most intriguing games of the year in college softball, and it lived up to the hype. Florida State won 4-3 after a walk-off single by Kalei Harding.

Kathryn Sandercock was dominant in the circle vs. UCLA. She didn’t start, but allowed just one hit over the final 3.1 innings of the game. She walked one and struck out four.
Florida State is 10-0 this season and jumped up to No. 4 in the country in the latest rankings. The Seminoles also have wins over programs like Tennessee, Texas and Michigan.
FSU is hosting another tournament this weekend. It will face Indiana and Hofstra twice each over the weekend. ACC play begins vs. Pittsburgh on March 4.
