Florida State’s annual spring game has reportedly been set.

According to Noles247, the FSU Alumni Association sent out a save-the-date that places the scrimmage on Saturday, April 15. The athletic department has yet to officially announce a date for the Garnet and Gold Game.

This will be FSU’s third spring game under coach Mike Norvell and a first look for fans at a team that is expected to be one of the best in the country.

The Seminoles went 10-3 last season, closing the year out with six consecutive victories and an 11th-place spot in the final AP Top 25 poll. Quarterback Jordan Travis led a top-25 scoring offense, and he returns in 2023 to steer a potential ACC title team.

It isn’t just the return of Travis that has expectations up, though. Norvell put together a 2023 high school class that ranks among the top 25 in the country in the 247 Composite. And the 9-man transfer class the Seminoles have put together currently ranks 2nd nationally.

The spring game in April will be the first opportunity for fans to see some of the newcomers.
