Florida State’s injury issues continue to pile up.

The Seminoles will be missing multiple starters on Saturday night against Clemson.

Running back Treshaun Ward and defensive tackle Fabien Lovett will not play in this game, according to multiple reports. Beat writers at Doak Campbell Stadium have spotted both players in street clothes during pregame warmups.

Ward suffered a shoulder injury during FSU’s loss to NC State last weekend. Ward has been the Noles’ leading rusher this season with 488 yards.

However, FSU is deep at running back Trey Benson and Lawrance Toafili are expected to claim the majority of the carries as long as Ward is out. True freshman Rodney Hill could also make an impact. Ja’Khi Douglas is suited up for the first time this season as well.

As for Lovett, this will be his fifth straight missed game due to a foot injury. He’s a big part of Florida State’s interior defensive line when healthy.

On the bright side for FSU, defensive tackle Robert Cooper appears to be available tonight. He’s suited up despite missing part of the NC State game with an injury.

Florida State and Clemson kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
