Florida State receiver Johnny Wilson picked up another nice accolade on Monday evening.

Wilson was named one of Kirk Herbstreit’s top performers for Week 3. He caught 7 passes for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns in Florida State’s win over Louisville on Friday night.

Washington’s Michael Penix Jr., Penn State’s Nick Singleton, Kansas’ Jalon Daniels, App State’s Christian Horn and Georgia’s Brock Bowers were also included in Herbstreit’s list:

Wilson was a major reason why Florida State was able to pull off a comeback win over the Cardinals this weekend. He was a reliable target for backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker throughout the second half.

Wilson also earned ACC Wide Receiver of the Week honors for his performance.

So far this season, Wilson has 11 catches for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns. His 86.7 yards per game ranks third in the ACC behind only Zay Flowers and Jared Wayne.

Florida State faces Boston College in Week 4.
