Florida State receiver Johnny Wilson is the highest-graded WR amongst all Power 5 receivers entering Week 6, according to Pro Football Focus.

Wilson has already reached a career high in yardage this season with 357 yards. He’s also scored 3 touchdowns. He entered this year with 1 career touchdown during his years at Arizona State.

Wilson was especially impactful for the Noles during their comeback victory on the road at Louisville. He scored 2 touchdowns in the second half and was a dependable target for backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker.

On Thursday, ESPN released a list of 25 impactful transfers. Wilson was included and received some glowing remarks from anonymous opposing coaches.

Florida State’s receiving corps in generals has been much better in 2022. Receivers Mycah Pittman and Ontaria Wilson are each over 200 receiving yards through 5 games and have helped stabilize FSU’s offense.

FSU will need a big game from Wilson on Saturday as the Seminoles face NC State in Raleigh.
