Former Florida State receiver D’Marcus Adams has identified his next program.
Adams announced on Friday that he’s transferring to Syracuse. The former Seminole left FSU after the 2019 season before moving on to Florida Atlantic. He spent 2 seasons with the Owls before deciding to enter the transfer portal.
Here’s his announcement:
Adams played in 10 games last season for FAU, catching 3 passes for 94 yards. He mostly contributed on special teams. He returned 10 kicks for 236 yards, including a long of 47.
He’ll presumably fill that role for the Orange and potentially will also contribute at receiver.
Adams did not record any statistics during his time with the Seminoles. He was a 3-star prospect in the class of 2018. He was the No. 70 receiver in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings

He committed to Florida State shortly after Willie Taggart took over as head of FSU’s program and ultimately followed Taggart to FAU.
Florida State does play Adams and the Orange on Nov. 12 at Syracuse. Adams has 2 years of eligibility remaining.
