Greg McElroy regularly gives his predictions for the biggest games in college football. This week, the ACC Championship matchup between the Florida State Seminoles and Louisville Cardinals caught his attention.

McElroy thinks the Noles will be able to get it done even without star QB Jordan Travis.

“Mike Norvell knows where his weaknesses lie, and he will find a way,” McElroy explained. “I think Florida State finds a way in this ACC title game.”

The 12-0 Seminoles had a rough outing against the Florida Gators last week with Tate Rodemaker at the helm. The Noles were able to claw out a 24-15 win over the Gators.

“I think it’s going to be a competitive game, a really competitive game,” McElroy  said. “But I trust Tate Rodemaker more, at the moment, than I trust Jack Plummer.” McElroy also pointed out the fact that Rodemaker was thrust into action last season against Louisville, and led the Noles to a victory.

Plummer has thrown for 2,952 yards this season with 21 TDs and 11 INTs on the season. However, the Seminoles present a unique test, coming into the championship game with the No. 20 total defense. The Noles are also No. 8 in the nation in sacks.

The ACC rivals will kick off from Charlotte, NC at 8 p.m. Eastern on Saturday.
