Jalen Ramsey has been traded to the Miami Dolphins, according to a report.

News of Ramsey’s pending move began to break on Sunday afternoon. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was 1st to report the details of the trade. The Rams will be receiving tight end Hunter Long and the No. 77 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft in exchange for Ramsey.

According to Schefter, the trade will be made official by the league on Monday:

Ramsey has established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. He’s a 6-time Pro Bowler and a 3-time All-Pro after playing 7 seasons in the NFL.

He was a 1st round pick out of Florida State in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ramsey joins a Dolphins team that is expected to compete for a playoff spot again in 2023. Miami finished the 2022 season with a 9-8 record despite dealing with injuries across multiple positions, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Ramsey seems to be happy with the move closer to home:
