Jammie Robinson receives Senior Bowl Player of the Week honor from vote of peers

Jammie Robinson is performing well at Senior Bowl practices, and his peers have noticed.

Jim Nagy, executive director of the Senior Bowl, reported that Robinson, the former Florida State and South Carolina defensive back, was voted Player of the Week from his position group by peers who went against him as tight ends and wide receivers.

Robinson is trying to improve his NFL Draft stock as one of the better defensive backs in the mix.

In 2 seasons with the Seminoles earned first-team All-ACC honors and led FSU in tackles in both seasons.

Robinson didn’t declare until January after he played in the Cheez-It Bowl, and recorded a game-high 13 tackles, along with a sack, to lead FSU to a 35-32 win over Oklahoma at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
