Joel Klatt provides previews for all the major college football games. This week, the ACC Championship between Florida State and Louisville made the cut.

The Seminoles enter the game with a perfect 12-0 record, but they will be without star quarterback Jordan Travis. The Cardinals enter the game with a 10-2 mark, but they lost their last time out — 38-31 to Kentucky.

Any chance the Noles have of making the College Football Playoff would be wiped out with a loss in this game. Unfortunately for the Noles, that’s exactly what Klatt is predicting.

“Louisville’s QB Jack Plummer, he’ll be making his 38th career start. (Tate) Rodemaker (will be making) his third,” Klatt explained. “So, I think Louisville wins the game. If you look at the way that Florida State has been playing, in particular without Travis, a good team really should beat them.”

The Noles’ first game without Travis came in Week 13 against the Florida Gators. It was an ugly game, but the Noles were able to come away with a 24-15 win. Clearly, however, this was not the same team without Travis at the helm.

“But they’ve (Florida State) got outstanding players,” the analyst explained. “If Jared Verse goes off, well then Florida State can win.”

The Noles and Cardinals will kick off from Charlotte, NC on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
