Jordan Travis is returning to Florida State in 2023 for his final year of eligibility.

Travis made that announcement on Monday evening.

Here it is:

“We’re not done yet,” Travis said in the video. “See y’all in 2023.”

Travis is coming off of a career year with the Seminoles. Through 12 games, he has thrown for 2,796 yards, 22 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He’s also rushed for another 367 yards and 7 scores on the ground.

Perhaps more importantly, Travis led FSU to its best season in several years. Florida State won more than 7 games in a season for the first time since 2016. The Noles have a chance to get to 10 wins with a Cheez-It Bowl victory over Oklahoma later this month.

Coach Mike Norvell also commented on Travis’ decision:

Travis will enter next season as one of the favorites to win ACC Player of the Year. He was named second-team All-ACC this season behind only North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye.

With his return, Florida State could be one of the highest-ranked teams in the country entering next season.

Florida State faces Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl on Dec. 29.
