Jordan Travis is continuing to build momentum in his case for the 2023 Heisman Trophy.

Travis, who entered Saturday amongst the favorites to win the award, turned in one of the best performances of the season on Saturday. He finished with 359 passing yards and 3 passing touchdowns vs. Wake Forest. He also added 29 yards and another score on the ground.

Travis exited the game late in the fourth quarter with the Seminoles up 41-16 over Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.

Other candidates for the Heisman at this point in the season includes Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Travis has led Florida State to an 8-0 start to begin the year.

Florida State has not had a Heisman Trophy winner since Jameis Winston won it in 2013. Winston led the Seminoles to the BCS National Championship that season as well.
