Jordan Travis had a message for Florida State fans after the Noles’ 41-16 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday.

Travis said he was “thankful” for the fans that have stuck by this Florida State team this season. Prior to beating the Yellow Jackets, FSU had lost three consecutive games.

Travis was exceptional against Georgia Tech, throwing for a career-high 396 yards in the win. He also threw for three touchdown, which matched a career-best.

Florida State is now 5-3 on the year and is on track for its first 8-win campaign since the 2016 season. If the Noles win out — including a bowl game victory — a 10-win season is still possible.

FSU will likely be a road favorite in its rivalry game at Miami this weekend. Florida State defeated the Hurricanes in a 31-28 classic last November — a game that may have ultimately resulted in the firing of Manny Diaz.

Florida State and Miami kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
