Jordan Travis included on ESPN's 'hot board' for 2024 NFL Draft prospects
Jordan Travis was named to ESPN’s list of top quarterback prospects for the 2024 NFL Draft.
Jordan Reid updated his “hot board” on Wednesday morning, which includes the top 16 passers in the country who are eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft. Travis comes in at No. 12 on Reid’s list, ahead of players like Sam Hartman, Cam Ward and Riley Leonard.
Here’s Reid’s analysis on where Travis has excelled this season:
The process is hardly ever conventional with Travis, but the end result is usually positive. He has made a name for himself with his playmaking ability, showing creativity outside of structure. He’s one of the more talented dual-threat passers in the 2024 group, having also rushed for seven TDs in four straight seasons now. And Travis has 18 career games with a passing and rushing score in the same game, a Florida State record.
Travis is a Heisman Trophy contender as the calendar moves toward mid-November. He has thrown for 2,469 yards and 19 touchdowns so far this season and is on-pace to set career-highs in both categories.
If Travis is drafted, he would be the first FSU quarterback to hear his name called since Jameis Winston went No. 1 overall in 2015.
Florida State will look to move to 10-0 on Saturday vs. Miami.
