Jordan Travis got Florida State on the board with a nifty touchdown early in the first quarter vs. Clemson.

Travis kept the ball on a zone read and juked out Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter near the line of scrimmage. Travis left Carter in the dust and zoomed ahead for a 20-yard score.

Here’s the play:

Carter is having a great season for the Tigers and has been building an All-ACC calibre résumé.

That was Travis’ second rushing touchdown of the season. More importantly, it gave FSU a 7-0 lead early on against Clemson.

Florida State is looking for its first win over the Tigers since the 2014 season. Clemson has won 6 games in a row but the teams did not meet in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Florida State was a 4.5-point underdog in this game. The Noles are trying to snap a 2-game losing streak and get back in the win column. FSU started the year with a 4-0 record.
