Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis set a new career-high in passing yards on Saturday night vs. Boston College.
Travis topped 300 yards for the first time in his collegiate career, which spans 29 appearances. He finished the game 16-of-26 for 321 yards and 1 touchdown before making way for backup Tate Rodemaker.
Travis’ previous career high for passing yards in a single game was 274 yards, which he accomplished in FSU’s win over Miami last season.
Travis, who was questionable for this game with a leg injury, exited with a 37-0 lead. The Seminoles dominated this game in all 3 phases. They kept Boston College from crossing midfield in the first half and s
cored a special teams touchdown.
FSU did not punt while Travis was in the game. The Noles scored 4 touchdowns, kicked 1 field goal and turned it over on downs twice.
If Florida State hangs on, it will move to 4-0 on the season. The Noles haven’t been 4-0 since 2015. Florida State could also be ranked in the AP Top 25 on Sunday for the first time since 2018.
