Jordan Travis threw a historic touchdown pass in the first half vs. Virginia Tech on Saturday afternoon.

Travis’ second touchdown pass of the game — both to Johnny Wilson — was the 5th of his career. That means Travis is now tied for 4th all-time in touchdown passes at Florida State alongside Danny Kanell.

Here’s video of the record-tying pass:

Travis is already FSU’s all-time leader in touchdowns responsible for. However, he still has some work to do if he’s going to end his career as FSU’s all-time leader in touchdown passes.

Chris Weinke holds that record with 79 touchdowns in his FSU career. If Travis is going to catch Weinke, he’d have to throw for 23 more touchdowns over the remainder of the season.

It’s possible Florida State has as many as 10 games left after this Virginia Tech contest — 7 in the regular season and then potential trips to the ACC Championship Game and College Football Playoff.

Jameis Winston (65) and Chris Rix (63) are also still above Travis on FSU’s all-time touchdown leaderboard.
