Kalen DeLoach shared a special message with Florida State fans on Thursday evening as he prepares to play in his final game for the Noles.

DeLoach confirmed his plans to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. That’s not a surprise, as the veteran linebacker will be out of college eligibility at the end of the 2023 season. In his note, DeLoach wrote a length message to “Nole Nation” as he enters the next phase of his career.

“Florida State University, I am grateful for the transformative five years I’ve spent at this great university,” DeLoach wrote in-part. “Coming here as a young man I am leaving with a degree. Having grown both academically and athletically. The experiences I’ve had here will always be remembered.”

Here’s his full message to the FSU community:

DeLoach is one of a handful of starters who is playing for Florida State on Saturday in the Orange Bowl. While speaking with reporters this week, DeLoach shared a thoughtful message about why he decided to not opt-out of the Orange Bowl.

Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
