Keon Coleman jumped into some rarified air in Florida State history with his performance vs. Syracuse over the weekend.

Coleman became the second Florida State player in the past 25 seasons to total 100 receiving yards and 100 punt return yards in the same game. He joined Florida State legend Peter Warrick in that exclusive club.

Coleman finished the game with 140 receiving yards, 1 touchdown and a brilliant one-handed grab that helped FSU take an early lead over the Orange. He also added 107 punt return yards in the win.

Warrick accomplished this feat back in 1999 against North Carolina. He totaled 103 receiving yards and 115 punt return yards against the Tar Heels.

Coleman has established himself as one of college football’s top receivers this season. He’s already amassed 418 yards and 7 touchdowns this season despite splitting targets with fellow top receiver Johnny Wilson. His 7 touchdowns are good enough to tie his previous career high from his time with Michigan State.

Florida State is 6-0 so far this season and 4-0 in ACC play. FSU will look for another big performance out of Coleman this upcoming weekend as it hosts Duke in a top-25 showdown.
