Kirk Herbstreit names Florida State as one of his top performing teams in Week 3
ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit included Florida State on his list of the top performing teams in Week 3.
Herbstreit rewarded the Seminoles for a valiant effort in Friday’s 35-31 win over Louisville. It was a win that required full effort from the entire team. Florida State checked in at No. 4 on the list of 8 teams. The Seminoles finished behind Kansas, Tulane, and Penn State on Herbstreit’s top performers list.

Florida State remained undefeated with the win and will look to continue to have great performances throughout the season. The win helped head coach Mike Norvell set the tone for what this season will be like.
The last 2 wins for Florida State came down to the wire and Norvell’s team showed that they can persevere in close games. When Jordan Travis left the game with a leg injury, backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker stepped up and helped win the game for the Seminoles. Rodemaker passed for 109 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception.
The Seminoles will look to have another great performance against Boston College on Saturday.
