Mike Norvell doesn’t believe he needs to make a case for Florida State to the College Football Playoff selection committee. The ACC title game will do that on its own.

Norvell and company are in Charlotte to take on Louisville. Norvell spoke to the media on Friday and was confident that Florida State will show up on Saturday night.

“I believe we’ll show up tomorrow night, and that will be our statement,” said Norvell. “A lot of people love to talk. I want to see a team that acts.”

People have started to question whether the Seminoles should make the playoff with Jordan Travis out for the remainder of the season. However, Desmond Howard thinks Florida State should get a shot if it beats Louisville.

Florida State has “shown up” to the ACC Championship historically. The Seminoles are second all-time in conference titles with 15. Clemson currently has the most with 21.

Norvell has a chance to prove his team can win in a big game without Travis. Kickoff will be at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
