Florida State’s injury situation seems to be improving ahead of its matchup with NC State this weekend.

Coach Mike Norvell told reporters on Wednesday morning that defensive end Jared Verse will be available this week. Verse played a limited snap count vs. Wake Forest as he continues to recover from a knee injury.

Additionally, left tackle Robert Scott seems to be trending in the right direction. Norvell said Scott has practiced this week and is questionable for the game against the Wolfpack.

Getting Scott back would be a major boost for Florida State’s offensive line. Last week, he went through pregame warmups but wasn’t able to play against the Demon Deacons. When healthy, he’s one of the more dependable left tackles in the ACC.

Despite playing limited snaps last week, Verse recorded another sack to give him 4 on the season. He leads the ACC with 1 sack per game. He’s arguably Florida State’s most impactful defensive player.

Florida State and NC State kickoff at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
