Multiple key Oklahoma players will not be available for the Sooners in the Cheez-It Bowl vs. Florida State.

Coach Brent Venables confirmed that news on Sunday afternoon. The list of players includes running back Eric Gray, offensive tackle Anton Harrison, offensive tackle Wanya Morris and defensive lineman Jalen Redmond.

All four of those players will instead begin preparation for their NFL careers.

Gray was arguably Oklahoma’s best offensive player this season. He rushed for a team-high 1,366 yards and 11 touchdowns this year. OU’s next-leading rusher, true freshman Jovantae Barnes, had just 411 yards on the season.

Harrison and Morris were both major parts of Oklahoma’s offensive line this season. The Sooners will be without either of their starting offensive tackles in this game.

Redmond is a former blue-chip prospect who just wrapped up his best season in Norman over a five-year career. He made 10 tackles for loss and four sacks this season for the Sooners.

Florida State could have opt-outs for this game as well. The Cheez-It Bowl will be played on Dec. 29.
