Mycah Pittman, FSU WR, announces he will miss 4-6 months after surgery

Mycah Pittman has shared some disappointing news, announcing that he will miss 4-6 months of play due to a hip injury.

The FSU WR made the announcement on his YouTube channel on Saturday, saying “I do not know if I will be able to make it back during the season. But we have a great training staff and great people around me that’s going to help me try to get back.”

During the 2022 season, Pittman played with what was believed to be a hip strain. However, after the season, it was determined to be a more serious tear of the labrum.

Pittman joined the Seminoles prior to the 2022 season as a transfer from Oregon. This past season, the WR made 32 catches for 330 yards and 3 touchdowns, which was 3rd on the team. Overall, between his career between Oregon and FSU, Pittman has 70 passes for 877 yards and 5 touchdowns. Pittman was also a  successful perimeter blocker for the Seminoles this past season as well.
