Paul Finebaum updated his projected College Football Playoff top 4 on Wednesday morning.

Finebaum appeared alongside colleague Heather Dinich for their weekly appearance on ‘Get Up’. He revealed his new top 4: Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Washington.

Finebaum previously had Florida State in his top 4, but dropped the Noles out this week as Michigan and Washington entered the mix. Finebaum did say that FSU was considered for a top four spot alongside Oklahoma

“And after [Georgia] it’s Ohio State, Michigan and Washington,” Finebaum said. “Washington, you could put Washington, Oklahoma , Florida State, there’s so many schools that belong in that top 6 or 7 right now.”

Washington likely jumped the Noles by virtue of its last-minute win over Oregon in Week 7. Florida State does have strong wins over LSU and Clemson on its résumé as well, however. Michigan continues to dominate its opposition, although the Wolverines have yet to face a top 25 opponent.

Florida State will have another opportunity to improve its résumé with a top 25 win over Duke on Saturday.
