Charlotte offensive lineman D’mitri Emmanuel is currently on a visit to Florida State, according to a report.

That’s per 247Sports’ Chris Nee, who adds that a decision could be coming soon.

Emmanuel is one of the top offensive line prospects still in the transfer portal. He’s a 3-year starter at Charlotte and has just 1 year of eligibility remaining.

He’s a versatile player who racked up starts at 4 different offensive line positions during his time with Charlotte. He was consistently one of the best offensive linemen in Conference USA when healthy.

Florida State is battling a pair of ACC rivals in this recruiting. Emmanuel has also earned offers from Miami and Boston College since entering the portal.

Emmanuel overlapped with Florida State offensive coordinator Alex Atkins at Charlotte. Atkins was his offensive coordinator in 2019, which was Emmanuel’s first year as a starter.

Atkins served as FSU’s offensive line coach for the past 2 seasons. He was promoted to offensive coordinator earlier this offseason.
