Report: Key Florida State offensive lineman unavailable for LSU game

Florida State starting right tackle Bless Harris will miss the Seminoles’ marquee matchup on Sunday night with an apparent injury.

According to Rivals’ Curt Weiler, Harris is not suited up tonight and has h

is right arm in a sling.

Harris started at right tackle in FSU’s win over Duquesne in Week 0.

Florida State presumably has a few options in replacing Harris on Sunday night. Lloyd Willis is the listed backup at right tackle on FSU’s depth chart.

FSU could also turn to Darius Washington, who started a

t center last week but has spent most of his career at tackle. Florida State’s usual center, Maurice Smith, missed last week but is potentially healthy enough to play vs. LSU.

There’s also true freshman Julian Armella, who drew high praise from teammates and coaches throughout fall camp.

Harris arrived at Florida State this offseason after starting his career at Lamar. He won the starting right tackle job during fall camp.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
