Florida State defeated Georgia Tech 41-16 on Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.

It was a convincing win for a program that was riding a three-game losing streak. After the game, quarterback Jordan Travis and running back CJ Campbell had the honors of “breaking the rock.”

The tradition has become a postgame staple under Mike Norvell after wins. For the Georgia Tech game, two rocks were broken. One by Travis, who set a new career-high in passing yards with 396. And one by Campbell, who scored a touchdown in this game despite initially being ruled out for the season with an injury back in August.

Here’s video of the rocks being broken:

Florida State is now 5-3 on the season and is one win away from bowl eligibility. The Noles are also on track to secure their first eight-win season since 2016.

Travis and the Seminoles have another test next weekend on the road at Miami.
