Florida State’s 45-38 win over Florida on Friday night called for a special twist to FSU’s ‘break the rock’ tradition.

Quarterback Jordan Travis earned the honors after his excellent performance against the Gators. But he — and the rest of the Seminoles — wanted coach Mike Norvell to get in on the fun as well.

After Travis took his swing, Norvell grabbed the hammer and made his mark as well.

Florida State strength coach Josh Storms was the third person to take a crack at the rock in the video.

FSU ends the regular season on a five-game winning streak and will now await its bowl destination. The Noles are likely to be the second highest-ranked ACC team in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday.

Norvell will have a chance to lead the Noles to their first 10-win season since 2016. The Seminoles are already bowl eligible for the first time during his tenure.

Florida State will learn its bowl destination next weekend.
