Georgia Tech quarterback Jeff Sims is “day-to-day” for this weekend’s matchup against Florida State.

Sims left Georgia Tech’s Week 8 loss to Virginia with the injury. The Yellow Jackets’ offense struggled mightily without him and mustered only 9 total points in the game.
Zach Gibson played quarterback and completed only 10-of-25 passes for 95 yards. He also lost 25 yards on 12 carries.
Key told reporters that true freshman quarterback Zach Pyron will likely play in this game as well. It would be his collegiate debut.
Florida State is a huge betting favorite in this contest. After the line opened at -18, it jumped all the way to -23 at most sportsbooks on Monday.
Georgia Tech has won the last 2 games in this series. Florida State’s last win over the Yellow Jackets came during the 2014 seasons.
Kickoff is at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
